it's ok on fuel. i worked it out to be around 30mpg in normal daily use. this one has the 2.7 non turbo ohv engine. very tough and this engine was used in the London black cabs. not very fast mind.

so i finally got around to tidying up the bodywork on this. the bed had a few holes and was generally looking tatty. i knocked it into a slightly better shape and hit it with some epoxy primer then shot it in gloss black. i didn't want to lose the stripes or replace them so i managed to mask em off and paint around them. looks a lot better, but still far from perfect. which suits me very well. now i need to wash the thing properly and hit it with some polish and wax. also going to wax oil and stone chip the underside while we still have the good weather...

not my field. my friend rents a unit from the farmer. Sorry for the thread jack but,, man i get like that Bubba dude on Forrest Gump around the time the local corn harvest begins here.I can't stop thinking about it. But back on track,, yeah as you probably know, we didn't get diesels which kinda sucks because trucks like that here get about 17 mpg and that is going down hill with the wind at your back.. But they sell those humongous dodge/ford/ chevy trucks with engines the size of locomotive power plants.
