I have just purchased and fitted one of these to my Datsun

A recent article in Practical Classics helped me to decide to fit one..... cheap as chips and EASY to set up. Comes with an in-car battery charger.
Loads of features such as Setting a speed limit, SOS button, Alert if it moves out of a preset area and continual monitoring every 30 seconds or more (so you can see it on the move)and multiple tracking from up to 5 mobile 'phones (handy if you lose yours).

With some recent events of Datsun theft highlighted on our site, this must be a great bargain for peace of mind. Use it with your visible deterrent (steering lock etc.)
All you need extra is a Pay-as-you-go sim with some credit on it. Even comes with 2 batteries.

To read Leigh's posts there is a special key combination, it is CTRL + A, suddenly you can read everything (might have to click his text first)

Have you tested it out much? I had one of these (still got it somewhere) and I could never get it to do much. It was a pain to programme. I now just use old smartphones (20 quid ish off Ebay).

Hi. New on here so hello everyone! I bought one of these trackers for my old peugeot. It works alright but freaks me out every now and then by texting me and saying my car has moved. It never has! The day I ignore it will be the day it gets robbed!

Two week on Friday I get my 120y coupe! Speak to you all then!!

I've had mine fitted for some time now and at least twice a month I test it and it ALWAYS shows the correct location. There is no 'phone connected as it has it's own built in transmitter/receiver with rechargeable battery connected to the cigarette lighter. You just have to buy a sim. I got a £10 Virgin sim with unlimited texts (which is what it uses) so, in theory, there will be no further charge to me for years!

The movement function and other functions can be programmed out. This might stop you getting worrying texts. I programmed them out as my car is garaged at home but if yours is at a remote location you can leave it on. There are all sorts of other functions, such as 30 second updates, but I would only use them once the car was stolen etc.
I must admit that the guide is a liitle "complicated" but if I can do it, you can.

For the money they're great. It wasn't that long ago when the cost was in the hundreds to have fitted plus a monthly subscription.
