Nice work. What will you use the car for? Like the innovation of rear lights - more of us may need to resort to such things as parts become rarer. If the paint is original (or at least original colour) then I guess there will be a paint code on the VIN plate, that a paint supplier (Brown Brothers) can make up (but i am sure you will know that). Ed thanks im not sure what i will use it for, it wont do much, my r32 gtr is my daily, my r33 gtr is my power car for santa pod and the c210 is just something i fancy, my mate does steam rallies and takes alot of old cars and trucks so im going with him next year i think with the car on show so to speak at the rallie. i cant even find a paint code on the car but it looks like it might of been a dark blue as a piece of paint has chipped off and theres dark blue underneath it. i searched for paint codes and i found a datsun that looks identical colour in 305 blue. il go get a pic of said car now heres a 305 blue datsun 240z and my car for comparison

i think i'd paint the bumpers black. but then i'd also fit bigger wheels and drop it a lot more too ;D what about painting the rear light surrounds silver/grey? i may drop it some more yet im not sure, i want to get the wheel spacers on first as i can always lower it some more but cant put it back on. the reason i went with black on the surrounds is they are good but they are not perfect, the black hides any tiny imperfections that a light paint will show up.

as i can always lower it some more but cant put it back on. that depens on how you do it ;D i doubt you'll be able to lower it anymore without it constantly bottoming out on the bump stops anyway. it's looking good as it is anyway.

i cant even find a paint code on the car but it looks like it might of been a dark blue........ If you want to be 100% what it was PM me your chassis number and I can confirm for you. From memory the dark, solid blue was the only blue available on C210, I don't think they did a metallic blue on it.

you gonna go for silver or dark grey on the rims? either way, i think they'd suit it. personally i'd go for 15's to keep it a bit more old school. but it's a big car so should pull it off. plus you'll have a better selection of tyres availible. i'm looking forward to seeing this more and more

proper old watanabes would be a charcoal grey. like that C110 skyline in the forum banner. but, you've gotta build your car, your way.
