Hi! Last friday i picked up a original Cherry Turbo. In 2010 i picked this car up together with a friend (the formal owner) in france, since 2010 it's registered in the Netherlands. Some details: -totally stock -unknown how much miles/km's it has done -turbo @ 0.6 bar. -original Nissan sunroof -roof is rusted, rest of the car is OK but needs a repaint to make it look really good So, first day some pictures: plans? Enough! -new original exhaust -restore the outside, weld the roof etc and repaint -original rear lights -keep it original I'm thinking of painting it the original yellow-black, like this: But might be keeping it silver.... Not sure Hope you like it! Cheers, Rens

i really like these.
i vote for keeping it silver/black. it's a nice colour combination. but it looks like the current silver is more flat grey? i'm sure in new paint it will look great.

Thanks! It's true, the paint is flat and after polishing the car still looks not really shiny, just clean. I first wasn't sure about the color but it does look good on the Cherry

Hi Guys, I'm working on getting some parts together. Also mounted a new battery. Till now i have some brandnew tailgate struts, new headlights, original rear lights for the 82-84 model and a new antenna. Also got a picture from the old vs new headlight: LOT better

Hi All, Had a experience with original rear lights in the dishwasher with some great results: Before: during: After a few buffing moments with my DA polisher and some mild compound: You wouldn't say these are over 30 years now
