With the high cost of paint these days ( even if you do it all yourself ) you might as well get the end result you want. Yellows a good color, is it metallic? I have an incredibly hard time painting metallics.

No, it's not metallic I will paint the engine-bay and the inside myself but the outside will be done by a painter. It's not really expensive. For 1L + 0,5K hardner i have to pay about 90 euro's More then enough to do the enginebay and inside Metallic-paint i normally only paint together on special thinner-base, That goes fine by me luckely Water-based isn't my favorit...

Tnx! Me too i have to say Car is now getting some body-repair: A lot needs to be welded so more pictures will come! New front suspension arms: Used front calipers. Will make it possible to install vented disks breaks. Works a lot better then the solid ones And one brandnew headlight in the repainted holder: Cheers, Rens

Hi Guys, So the engine is in good nick but it did use a bit of oil. Offcourse this could be the head, the block or both. Because the car hasn't been used for many years when it was in france i made the choice to lift the head and see how it looked like from the inside. Well, i may have found a oil-use problem. Offcourse i made some pictures again. Before: during: Cil. head off: So, one cilinder has a big oil-consumption problem. The others are OK, bit of oily but not too serious. Suppose when i give the head a small revision it will have much less oil consumption and might be running better then before. Also made a nice found. This engine has the original Nissan watercooled turbo-upgrade. Incl. the new piping and the new thermostat housing. Was a very nice found!

It's nice to follow this thread. I'm going to install a similar sunroof to my B11. Have you got any photos of how the water pipes run from sunroof?

You make it look so easy! I like the plans for the new colour, any thoughts on suspension and wheels?
