thanks.
no, nothing to sign.
i only ask that any reps remember that they are representing the club and so they should not do anything that would give the club a bad name or abuse thier position for personal profit.
anyone doing so would be booted out of that position.
ideally reps would help out arranging any small meets in their area and be a first point of contact in that area as well.

right. well we still have a lot of gaps to fill for area reps.
also, i need to remind the reps that they need to keep an eye out for local car shows and let us know about them so other members in there areas can meet up.
there's plenty of interest in our old cars and i get a lot of calls from owners asking what meets we're attending. i think we need to get a lot more organised...

My experience has been different, asking about shows is something different and turning up and making the numbers is another story. I always mention here about the Heathrow & Uxbridge Car shows which are quite local to me and the turn up so far has been quite poor. I will do that again this year and lets see if there is more interest especially as the Forum members now appear more keen. Must admit its a good opportunity for networking and catching up with other members.

this forum is getting a lot more members logging on this year so hopefully people seeing meets posted up here will start attending.

I have seen the Heathrow show advertised elsewhere the past couple of years and have really wanted to go as it sounds excellent (Is it?) but haven't been able to for other commitments.Hopefully, third time lucky. Don't forget to post it and the Uxbridge show. It may help to give more detail other than the date, time, place etc. as some members will be enticed by Live Music, an Auto Jumble, barbeque, Fun Fair etc. etc.

I can't cover the Surrey Sussex and Kent area any more as I have moved to Gloucestershire.

Okay, Ladies and Gentlemen. I am appealing again for some Area Representatives to come forward for the Club. Doesn't matter where you live, just to be willing to give your details so that Al or I can contact you if need be, for the aforementioned reasons. I've been doing this for some years and have only had to deal with a dozen or so calls from people enquiring about the club or seeking some assistance from it. I do regularly (I think...) post up events in my areas and have passed on details of cars for sale from deceased estates etc. to members. I have had one just today. No hard work involved.
Please consider the position and put yourself forward.
You can send me your 'phone numbers, e-mails, twitter, facebook etc. and I will keep them safe. At present we do not give out your details.... we contact you ourselves and ask you to contact the third person... simples!

Glad to see Spottedlaurel is still in the Datsun family. Well done Nigel. Keep up the good work. You would be my closest rep, as I'm in east harling.
Regards Andy.
