I bet it felt good getting it out of hibernation after all that time

was a little bit of a challenge, one rear wheel a little stuck but the old girl managed to drag it. Was soon free once I could give it a tap with a hammer lol Another little piece of work tonight, it's not quite as dark as it looks Also have a shipment of goodies on route from Datsport

After 5 years I have decided it's time I did some work on the 510. So arranged with a friend to bring over his flat bed to move the 510 out of hibernation up to my house. Taking a good battery and some fuel the 510 burst into life and move part way from garage before stalling and refusing to start. It was out far enough to be able to winch it onto flat bed. once at the house after a little investigation the she was running again (rotor arm and moved high enough to no longer be turning). No parked on the drive . Is that BRM...My old one that ended up at Ed's?

Yes Preet but it's not changed much , Hoping to try and get it on the road this year, Won't be painted on outside but engine bay inside and all mechanicals sorted. Not that it really needs much to get it through an MOT (brakes sills and an exhaust) nut I have plans a foot

Compared to the sills, the engine bay is remarkably rust free. Looks like the wiper motor was the worst part? Couldn't you get it out? I love seeing the part when the primer goes on and it all starts to look good. Nicely done.

Not tried to remove the wiper yet, will do when i get to that area. Still got the rad support panel to clean up and primer and the firewall. The i'll put some seam sealer on all the seams, primer again then paint. Sadly though it's taken a little back step again as i'm pushing on my GT which is in friends body shop. Hopefully be complete in a few weeks then back on to this.
