Nice work, the wheels look great. If my C230 had them when I bought it I probably wouldn't have bothered to fit the C210 alloys it now has.

Finally started working on my Laurel 


Doors are pretty rusty as already know, but it'll look good as new when we're done

Thanks! To be honest, it isn't too bad. The doors are rusty, but thats pretty much it. There are a few dents here and there, and quite a few scratches. I'll have it completely repainted, same color of course. 
It has got undercoat everywhere, but i'm going to leave it, because that's the reason it's still in such a good condition underneath. I've only cleaned the engine bay, just to show it off

The rims are done now i need to find a new set of tires 

It really gives it that extra 70's look

Are the wheels now black, or is it the photo? Are you going to put the embellishers back on? Personally, I liked the silver wheels. Keep posting as this is looking well good.

Yep, they're black! I'll put the embellishers back on the rims once the new paintjob is on it, because there's still a lot of work to be done and i don't want to damage them. The wheels won't stay on for long, as it'll be completely sandpapered(not sure if thats correct english, but you'll probably get what i mean )  i just put them back to take some photo's and to move it.

But everything is fixable

Ofcoure this is just the welding part, still has to be primed & sanded. and painted ofcourse
