I'm not familiar with your wheel/tyre sizes for your model but in theory if you increase the wheel size you will probably need to reduce the diameter of the tyre in order to keep the rolling circumference close to original. Then your speedo won't be too far out. The offset of the wheel needs to be taken into consideration i.e. how far in or out the centre line of the wheel is from it's inner or outer rim. That may be why your tyres rubbed. The width of the rim also needs to be correct so that it doesn't rub against anything. I think that there was an article on here about calculating offsets and rim widths. Someone reading this will probably have done this already and can help you more than me, so keep watching your post.

Well, they are the right PCD but the rim width and offset might not be suitable. Try Will (Datman) if no-one here can advise you. He can be contacted via www.datman.co.uk

Nice job cleaning it up.
Suprized the MGB wheels rubbed, was it the tyres that hit? as you'd most likely need to fit smaller tyres then were fitted to an MGB

yea it was the tyres, i dont know what size to fit that will thin them or lower the profile
plus fronts dont fit as need spacers due to caliper and the mgb wheel having large flat area were it bolts against hub

The factory silvia s12 alloys look really nice on these cars. I suspect you would go with 195-45-15 tyres or something similar. Primera wheels should also do trick in case you want Nissan OEM stuff
