That is amazing! Of course, the British car industry has been doing "specials" for years. By this I mean adding some stripes to the bodywork or seats; perhaps a different steering wheel and, maybe, some stainless steel wheel trims, for instance.... Usually done for run out models before the new model appears in order to attract buyers into purchasing the last of the stock.
As regards your pink Micra.... well.... I would like to think that the market research team did their homework before blinging it up with what must be (almost exclusively) a female targetted model. Over in the UK I would guess that there is a very limited market for pinky cars. The re-sale price must drop dramatically.
That said, in a few years time, when the Hello Kitty model appears at classic car shows I would think it will attract some interest.
