Oh! the windscreen aperture brings back fond memories of replacing Datsun toughened windscreens on the hard shoulder of the M25 in the wind and the rain at stupid o'clock in the morning, trying to put a bead of glue around the aperture as the rain begins to fill the interior up like a swimming pool.

Today I completed the driver side rear quarter and arch which was a nightmare. I've re looked at the back panel and it's to far gone on top were the boot rubber sits so I will have to put a new panel on. Also put on the new door. I'm thinking of going orange with all the chrome in black and the car lowered sitting on black wheels

all the chrome black? could look pretty cool a real vivid metalic orange, slammed on wide black wheels. would make a change from your normal ones i guess?

Thought I better get back into this so started again, thinking should I take of the front wings and underseal, Door that will supplied was very good just one tiny little pin whole dent but I bare metalled it, driver side now complete and now moving to the front, so much prep work. I was only suppose to get her road worthy but that's out the window plans are full bodywork.

i used Bilt Hamber's wax oil in a proper air fed wax oil gun with a spray nozzle. any wax oil is better then nothing. use it after any welding repairs rather then before, as is pretty flamable.... a nice write up on corrision protection would be good
