Following on from Datman's inspired use of roof flashing for sound insulation pads, I wonder if anyone has similar inspiration for a suitable material for making bespoke mud flaps? I am aware of the mud flap sheet material that we can get as used for rally cars (I think it has to be 4mm thick) - but that is quite costly. I really need to create some wide mud flaps for the back of my 910 estate as mud & debris gets liberally splattered in the crevices behind the wheel arch. Any suggestions?
