Hi, any one got any ideas as to what's wrong with my engine. Noticed the engine was not running properly, new leads and plugs on it, getting sparks from all 6. When I remove the front 3 leads from the plugs the engine makes no change in sound. As I'm getting spark I presume it's not electrical. I'm getting fuel to the carbs and the vacuum hose is not blocked. help help help Floydy

Even if you are getting a spark, If there is no change when you remove the 3 leads then i would guess it is not firing on them cylinders at all. Possibly the spark is not strong enough or there is a lack of compression. Im assuming you have checked the dizzy cap etc ? Regarding the 3 cylinders in question, do the plugs look soaked when you take them back out compared to the 3 that are firing ? ... That would tell me its not firing and its flooding. If you have checked all the ignition side of things and your confident all is ok, then i would start looking at the block. Has your coolant level dropped ? ... If all else fails then I would be looking at carrying out a compression test.
Hopefully its something simple.
