Hi all. I've got my hands on an l14 engine from a vanette. My main question is will the bell housing bolts and manifolds fit? Any tips are more than welcome!
Cheers!
Forgot to mention... it's going in a b210 replacing the A12 lump that's in it.

I think you mean A14, first check the position of the dizzy, A series engine changed over time and if the dizzy is near the middle then you will have to look at cross member modifications or replacement. This link is based on the 1200 but there is a some good information here which is relevant to your car too.

Excellent link! Thanks for that! Yes its definitely an l14 engine which is an ohc type. Apparently the b210s had them in some Japanese versions.
Cheers

Must have been converted, the Vanette never came with a L14 only A14. It did come with a Z20 but not in the UK.
The link then is going to do no good , If it is a L series then you also need a different gearbox. you need to fabricate up a crossmember and mounts and probably a gearbox mount.
The B210 (Sunny Excellents) and the 140Z did come with an L series (not sold in UK) but there was quite a difference in the crossmember and other parts.
You would be much better sticking with an A series to keep the weight of the car down,
The A14 was the most powerful A series and a good base to start.

An a14 would be great. Can't find one though. I take it they go for silly amounts?
Top info! Thanks!
