Hey guys, I was leaving work the other day in Croydon and I saw a 140y go buy and I lost my Sh*t as I couldn't remember the last time I saw one!! I decided I'd like one. Looking around I saw this 140z, I drove 4 hours to see it as I was serious about it, it's ripe for restoration and will require a methodic and timely restoration and somebody not getting scared so easily. I think I'm the man for the job, there's pictures on google images of it and a few mixed stories of when it got imported but it just seems to be getting passed around from pillar to post, can anyone shed light on it's history. I've heard it might be an original 140z or a 140 with a body kit but looking inside at all the rounded dials and that it does look genuine. Thanks in advance for your replies Attachments:

Is the seller a chap called "Jon"? And whereabouts in the country did you drive to see this? Assuming it's Jon's car, then it's kosher.
An excellent buy. The only one in UK to best of my knowledge. With some work on the L16 in performance dept, this has the potential to be a very cool car. And unique at same time. Great investment potential if restored well. My 10p worth.

Hi thanks for getting back to me, Yeah it was Jon, I've been brutally honest as well as Jon, He's as straight as a roman road and a thoroughly nice chap. The money's not an issue, I'm good with a socket set and and an average welder, I just need a few days to think it over as I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. Any ideas why its been left to get into this state and no-one else has taken it on? Can you still get cills for a b210? Thanks

New sills may be available. Ask Will ( Datman)?
A decent fabricator\ welder should be able to match the existing profile so I can't see that being a major issue?
This is the first time that I have seen this particular car come up for sale ....

I presume this 140Z is the one that was bought in Portugal (ex-South Africa) but never got restored ... If you're not afraid to tackle the job then definitely an "excellent" buy and good investment. By the way, this one has the L14 instead of the L16 Just a teaser, this is what mine looks like at the moment. Feel free to contact me with any questions and calls for help ...
