1994 Nissan Maxima (J30) 3 litre V6 auto 170bhp 70,000 miles I picked up my 1994 Nissan Maxima last Monday. Flew down to Exeter, and drove it back home the 365 miles. Apart from a goosed battery, which meant I couldn't start the car after filling up just after collecting it, it drove brilliantly. Sat most of the way with the cruise control on at 70mph/2200rpm, and only used 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Filling up on the first day... First wash... Really is in great condition, especially after a full clay... Got to say, I love this car. It's Japanese built, comfortable, quite pokey, surprisingly decent on the juice (on a run anyway), and pretty retro looking. I really can't remember the last time I saw one. Not surprising really, as there are literally only a cheeky handful of these still registered on the roads. So. Future plans. I'd like to keep it standard. But I'd LOVE to modify it. So there we have it. I'm going to go slightly 'improve' it Smile Remove towbar Wheels Lowers USDM front grille USDM front corners (they have the orange DRL's) Lightly tint the rear windows Front spotlights I've already taken delivery of a couple of US front grilles, and the US corners are already fitted... This is the style I'm going for.... and I have these wheels on their way too... Loads more pics in my build thread over on Retro Rides... retrorides.proboards.com/thread/185631/1994-nissan-maxima-j30Hope you like.

Very nice. These are a good-looking car, shame they're so rare now.
Funny how they're seen as a sports saloon in the US, yet just an executive barge here.
Some headlight wiper repair work required?!
