Thank you very much, seeing photos of I looking good makes me want to do it up more. I love seeing old photos of my cars. Went down to Wills last night and picked up loads of goodies. Will really sorted me out well with really good parts. In the fir photo is that Will place where h lives now I'm trying to think what part of it it is

It's your I phone. When youriphone is uploading it is saving the photo with a different name on the IMg code. When photobucket is trying To add it to the forum it is not saved the same way on the server. Try this add a photo to this thread from a while back. Use an old photo that you added to this forum before. Do not put a recently new photo that you have saved to photobucket. See if That works. You put some photos up of a Datsun wih painted art on it previously and they worked try one of those photos again on here

Hi All, Looking to buy a air compressor. I dont have a clue which one, tank size, psi, turbo boost lol, v8 engine lol, It will be used for spraying and car work, please advise appreciated Well - judging by the paint spray wotk of yours shown on this board, I think maybe you should advise us!! Does it make a difference if oil free? eg does any oil get into the outlet air and affect paint etc? Just a couple of observations about the replies: - Good to hear 2 reports of Shiremoor Compressors. They are a long established local small business - been there. - Wolf compressors are also rebadged and sold (sometimes) by Aldi. Maybe much more DIY type stuff (ie for me). Also available from www.ukhs.tv/ - I have bought a few things from them that arrived very quickly. - watch the connectors - not an expert on this - but Wolf (& Aldi) use Euro quick connectors that are quite rare elsewhere, but work OK. I bought a basic air compressor from Aldi - primarily for rust proofing my Datsun. However it is invaluable for all sorts of other things. Ed Hi Ed, On the old one i had a inline filter this stops water and oil droplets from getting into your paint which helps alot, thanks for the links im just confussed. The other thing is i have to wait for the bill from Will about parts before deciding which compressor to buy or whats left in the budget for this project.

Well done Ricky it all looks really really well. Did you paint the panels using rattle /spray /aerosol cans? Maybe you can write up a "Ricky's guide to paintwork"? I could really benefit from your tips & techniques as I am sure could others. Ed Thanks Ed, spraying the car was done by an air gun from a compressor, it's an nice finish but way to many man hours involved.

Ricky - well done mate looks awesome one of the best 810 wagons if not the best...I guess you got the other best one Thanks mate, lol, I just go mad over the 810 I just need to start spending some time and effort on my blue saloon 810 (DJT). I'm very lucky as I remember when Will showed me (DJT) I was the happiest man and still am and had not seen a 810 in many years and owning four just makes me think (how the hell did that happen) lol. . Thanks all for the nice comments this wagons going into hibernation now for the winter.
