It’s something that often bugged me, but are non-black wiper blades easily available though? I seem to recall that on A10 and others rather than chrome they’re more of a flat/painted silver?
If the silver blades are still there then refills can be fitted, but what if they’ve been removed by a previous owner? Does Will have any NOS blades?
I have a vague recollection of repainting the wiper arms satin black on my N10, many years ago, but this wouldn’t be appropriate on many Datsuns nowadays.
Luckily I don’t have to worry on the C230, it has black arms and blades that hide away under the bonnet.

Black wiper arm = black wiper blade.Chrome/stainless wiper arm = chrome/stainless wiper blade. 'nuff said! ;D Leigh (Area rep) I quite agree. However stainless blades are much more costly than black, and if old stock would look right but might work poorly. And I change my blades every year to ensure they work @ their best.........So if my car had stainless wipers I think I would use cheaper /newer /better black blades except for show. Sorry - but its a sort of triumph of reality over originality. Having said that I wouldnt be driving around on 165 SR13 Japanese Dunlops (ie period tyres etc etc) either as they are so not available. you can get refills and make them work on the old silver wipers but they don't fit without some modification. a better bet would be spraying the black ones silver i guess . wouldn't even need to remove the rubber, could just mask it up instead.

The chrome / stainless wipers do look better but I've had mixed results with them, especially on my Triumph. I've got black ones on all my oldies at the moment I'm afraid, but I'd rather be able to see!! If anyone can point me in the direction of good quality chrome ones at a reasonable price I'll fit them!!
Spraying them silver for the Datsun isn't a bad idea though, might do that when I put the Violet back on the road.

i'd rather have something that works rather then something thats just shinny. fitting old stock wipers is ok for the show cars but i use mine. so i'll fit re fills to stainless ones if they're fitted. i'll have a go at painting my black ones silver just to shut you up thou when i get 5mins....
