Im in need of some tyres for the f11 but they're 12inch and i seem to be struggling to get them at a reasonable price. Would i be better off getting some 13s or does anyone know where i can get 12s at sensible money.

Most people I know use Camskill @ www.camskill.co.uk/ . However I have usually found a friendly word with ATS gets a good deal and also afterservice (punctures, tracking, re-balances, exhaust hangers & gaskets etc). Maybe my local ATS is unique. Its now getting quite hard to get a choice of decent tyres at reasonable price for 1980's & earlier cars - ie with 10", 12" and maybe even 13" rims, and especially hard to get "standard" (ie 80) profile tyres that were then commonplace. Just look at 165x14 tyres (ie now 165-80x14) - once common on Datsuns, MGB's, Volvos and Triumphs that are now available only in a handful of makes (that I would probably not choose for my car). On subject of tyres .....I wish I had just bought winter /cold weather tyres for my Datsun - their summer wear rate would be compensated by my cars low usage etc. Ed
