Has anyone else had issues with they're number plates not being on insurance websites ? If so is there a way round it ? Had a bad day today, some biffa truck twat wrote my car off today...now I face the fun task of finding a new car and insurance... trying to insure an identical car to mine with my insurance, but the plates not on there database, or any others..yet i find it on some car reg check sites... Desperate to get this car, I dont wanna be one of those 18 year olds with a corsa or saxo ha

Yeah checked on there, its not theyre. The owner says it hasnt had a plate change...not sure what to do, as the insurance companies don't recognise it, and wont insure it..

Get a copy of the V5 and get the reference number and the document number verified with the DVLA

Sometimes worth having a look on something like Cartell first, the make isn't always down as what you think it might be in which case you'll struggle with DVLA www.cartell.ie/What's the car that's been written-off - not your B11 is it?
