Hi guys, My N15 Almera has broke down for the second time in 2 days. In a nutshell I'm driving along and the engine just stalls. There is nothing out of the ordinary going on the engine just stops. There is no engine check light or warning light to indicate what it is, does not appear to be overheating.
I have half a tank of petrol in the car, the only thing that stands out is that I traveled pretty much the same distance last night when it broke down as I did this morning. When I try and start her up its not firing up at all.
When I eventually got back to her last night to have her towed she fired up straight away(had been standing over 2 hours)
Any one know what it could possibly be? cheers Kevin
Sorry , its a 1.4.

I know very little about n15's so i'll hit up the likely suspect.
If its not sparking when it breaks down once warm i would guess the coil is on its last legs they tend to stop working as they get warm.

I agree Coil or the amplifier. If you have breakdown cover, get them out and they will confirm the issue
