Hi been meaning to join the forum for a while, my names Isaac and this is my motor Posting for some advise really, had to replace all the studs because some chimp rounded them all off last time the tyres where done and noticed the brake disks are ridiculously thin, I'd imagine they've been skimmed back one too many times. Anyway just wondered if anyone's replaced the front disks on a Datsun 260c, perhaps a disk from a newer model or even a different car fits ? Had no luck phoning the Nissan main dealers. Also Datman doesn't have any spare. Datsun 260c cedric DE LUX 1975 Isaac

is a cool car. and looks a lot better now without the stickers.. Datman sorted me out discs for my 330 280C. i wonder what the difference is? i'd imagine you could swap over the whole stub axle assembley between the 230 and 330 models? but how about calling swampy up and seeing if he's got some good used ones? might have to pull them off a car after it's been raced rather then before thou! ;D

Also love your thread on retrorides, the 280 is a beaut Thanks

Datman, are you will from the website datman or just coincidence ? hmm I see, well I've replaced the studs, found some ford studs that were similar, mate drilled out the holes on the hub a little bigger so they'd fit.
I have the disks off in my kitchen at the moment, only prob is the cars my daily. Im ganna put car back together and drop it off for its MOT this weekend and hope it passes. But it's inevitable they'll need changing soon, you recon if I took them off at a later date and posted a disk up to you could see if there the same ?
Would be a great help if poss
