I would love to leave it just on petrol but the big 3lt lump with auto box dinks like a fish ... so im thinking lpg for running around and than flick the switch back to petrol when I want to leave corsa and cleo's for dead.
Unless some one want to fit a better (smaller) engine and box for me lol.

Oh and the side skirts are home made thanks to the wonderful b&q guttering department cost a hole £8 lol no kidding. Front spoiler is modified and for a golt mk2 cosh£10 but took a while to get right... Have a evo4 spoiler in bits this may or may not end up on the car I know spoiler are uncool at the moment but that just makes me want one lol.

Unless some one want to fit a better (smaller) engine and box for me lol. would be pretty easy to fit a CA18DE/T into this. but i think the biggest drawback with this car regarding MPG is the auto box. i found it got slightly better MPG when driving it normally, rather then trying to drive it slowly... if i had this back i'd still be looking at dieseling and manualising it and using it daily

Yeah that does sound like a good idea but I just dont have anywere to do any work on the car a manual box came up for sale down here the other day for just £200 but I had to turn it down because I just dont uave anywere to do it or the time got three kids under six now so time is precious. ...... Starting to like diesels aswell wife just got a dodge diesel goes like a rocket for a big car....
Lpg is my only option at the moment unless anyone has a coll datsun diesel they want to swap ;-)

LPG is deff the easiest way to go and sounds like your best option. should certainly get cheaper running costs.
assume there's plenty of LPG fill ups near you?
