Hi guys.
My hunt for a Datsun daily continues!
My short list looks like a 79 skyline or a 120y as they seem allot of car for the money!
I was wondering tho.
At any point do these cars have cross over parts with say an s13? Or something around that era?
My thinking is it would be easier to uprate the brakes and things if I buy something with some cross over parts

Nothing will just bolt on, they are just too far apart 1970s - 1990s.

the C32 (and poss C31?) Laurels can use S13 suspension/brakes. also that tidy Leopard that was for sale could have.
the earlier Nissans like the 240K and the 120Y can be upgraded with 280ZX bits if the spring cups are modified.
as Will says, you need to look at parts from the higher spec models from a similar age, unless your very good at fabricating conversion parts or are willing to pay someone to do it.

I just hoped for modern brakes if you have no problem doing fab work then you should be fine. depending on what engine/power you're going will depend on how much brakes you need. 280zx brakes should be more then adequate for most. there is also the S12 front struts which Damien on here is fitting to his 810 Bluebird. again they're plenty big enough... check out the suspension tech section.
