Hi , would welcome any advice re removing broken exhaust manifold bolt from block on 2.4 Laurel. It is of course below the surface.... Last time I tried an easy out it snapped off as well and that made matters much worse ( drilled out and helicoil ) . Is there a smart way ? The bolts are almost too small to drill for an easy out ? Cheers

few options.
could buy a decent quality easy out and see if that works. or just do the drill out and helicoil option.
or... phone up a specialist who will come out to you and do it for you. try asking local garages if they have a person they use.

There shouldnt be an exhaust manifold bolt in the block. Do you mean a stud and do you mean the cylinder head?

try welding on a nut, if it isnt too deep you can weld on a nut and get it loose with a spanner
