I remember it well..... Toyota were fastest on the first morning, Kankunen had a big off, our man Makinene hit an ambulance! Subaru gave out team orders, Mc Rae ignored them and then took a minute penalty! I went to be after a bit of a end of rally party in Loret de Mar and woke up to find Toyota he'd been caught cheating!

It's been a while since I logged in, so I thought I'd update this thread a bit. I got the Celica looking great (in my opinion), with improved clear light lenses, like thus.... Then this became available at a great price, and local too.... 1997, 2.5 litre Boxster. fantastic motor. I bought an Audi B4 Coupe, in lovely Byzanz Purple..... Sold the B3, then resprayed the Coupe..... I unfortunately had to sell the Coupe though, because I had to get a diesel mile muncher more suitable for my 130 mile a day commute. For that job, I got this lovely Jag X-Type.... My latest purchase is this, a Nissan!! 1999 Primera GTLE in Nordic BVlue. One of only 100 saloon GTLE's made, and as there were four colours (Silver, black, red and Nordic), it's probably one of only 25 Nordic saloons made.... Plans are to keep it, treasure it's rarity, and keep it generally factory fresh.
