So i have bought an '85 Sunny and just so happens my insurance is up for renewal this week. Does anyone know any good classic car insurance companies or whether my car will even qualify!
I only do about 3k a year so limited mileage could also apply

Lancaster worked for me - although recently charged £20 to change address. They do at least "preserve" my NCD (I had an NCD from a previous non-classic policy) although more years are not earned. However I hear that LV has now announced a classic policy - I will try them soon when my policy is for renewal. This brings us neatly on to .... agreed values (this goes foot-in-glove with a classic policy). As we know many old Datsuns cost little money (when compared at least to Fords etc)but are likely irreplacable. Does anyone have a tip for establishing valuation of their car? Is this something that we in DCUK can get heads together to sort out?

I insured my Supra with Adrian flux and had to pay £25 for the change of vehicle to the Datsun. Normally they ask for hi res pics of all sides, under bonnet and interior to allow an agreed valuation, it is optional.
