There seems to be a myth floating about that you can use MK3-5 Ford Cortina Sills to repair C210 Skyline ones... Personally I don't think they are a very good match, they wouldn't be any use to repair a section. Although you could replace the full length at a pinch. Also remember the front wings have the same profile as the sill so wouldn't match up very well to the Cortina Sills. Anyway some pics, the black sill is the Cortina one and the bare metal one is a Skyline reproduction made by a local fabricator.   If you have an intact piece of sill I would recommend taking it to a local fabricators! As an idea of cost I had two 2.4M long inner sills reproduce and four 2.4M long outer sill sections made for £150+ VAT |
