Datsun UK import figures: 1981/82 Datsun Bluebird 1.8GL auto (910), 2002 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr 1980-ish Datsun Bluebird 1.8GL 4dr (910) by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr M910 (1.8 saloon) 28681 Red car was owned by Ratdat, he kindly loaned it to me while he did some work on a 300C I had at the time. The blue one was bought new by my stepdad. 1982/83 Datsun Bluebird 1.8GL estate by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr WMJ910 (1.8 estate) 16580 I had this one for a short time, looked smart enough but with lots of miles on the clock mechanically it was a bit tired. 1981 Datsun Bluebird 1.6GL (910), Thurrock 2001 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr T910 (1.6 saloon) 5501 This one is still around and was seen not long ago by Leigh. 1980-81 Datsun Bluebird SSS Coupe (910) press photo by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr 1982 Datsun Bluebird SSS Coupe (910), c.1995 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr KM910 (1.8 coupe) 2558 I've always been rather fond of the SSS, never owned one though. Just something about the rear window that I like. I don't think they carried on here when the range was facelifted. The blue one was seen somewhere down south, Will's friend Malcolm ended up with it. 1980 Datsun Bluebird 1.8GL (910), Norway 2002 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Misc LHD 152 The above isn't one of them (saw it when on honeymoon!), but pleasingly it is still around and the current owner contacted me through Flickr. Datsun UK also brought in one each of E910 (LD20 saloon), Y910 and KY910 (saloon and coupe with Z20E engine). Workshop manuals for the latter aren't unusual to find here, I wonder if they were thinking of selling them in the UK? The L-series was getting on a bit by this time. I think Europe got them, this one I saw in France might be one: 1982/83 Datsun Bluebird (910), France c.1996 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr 1981 Datsun Bluebird Coupe (910) c.1986 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr /\ This one's an oddity. Found by complete chance in 1986 newsletter for the school Mrs SL went to, it was only imported in 1983 then DVLA says it was exported in 1987. 1982 Datsun Bluebird 1.8SSS Coupe (910) by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Does anyone know what happened to Charlie's SSS? Grand total for UK imports = 53,476

Was that pic of YKK from before I owned it? That car had an unfortunate end , Malcolm's mum 'tidied up the garden' and scrapped it while Malcolm was away

Was that pic of YKK from before I owned it? Yes, it was from when we went down to Arlington Raceway with that film crew who filmed Roge-a-Billy in an A10 after they'd been at your place. I seem to remember also seeing it at Wimbledon.

Here is mine. Pics are when it was out at its 1st (& only so far) show nearly a year ago. Sorry I can only post links - as I dont photobucket my own pictures, so these are courtesy of others. www.makephpbb.com/classicrallycha/viewtopic.php?t=3017&mforum=classicrallychawww.datman.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7131The pics are rather flattering. Although it looks very well, every panel has a scrape or a dent courtesy of 27+ years of central London. It is still doing well despite a few creaks and rattles. It is in regular use and on parade at many motor sport events when I marshal around north east England. It might be quite unusual as one of the latter ones it has 4-linked rear suspension (but solid axle) - I think only the last UK cars were so. Ed

I have Classic Revolution 5 wheels in black with a silver edges also bought some S13 coilovers (This is where i need some help) does anyone know anyone who can do the coilover conversion for me? I have not a clue I know it can be done.

I unfortunately don't have the time to do the work, but I'm sure someone can. The rears are easy but for the front you need to obtain S13 knuckles/hubs/brakes as well as the coilovers. You then need to decide how to sort out the top mounts (I used custom laser cut ones rather than redrill the tower) and also you need longer track rods.
