With the low miles old Datsuns that come up for sale it's got me thinking...

What's the highest mileage Datsun thats out there?

We all know the mechanics are good for it, and that it's the bodies which give way fairly quickly....

So. have you got or seen a high mileage one?

Lets give it a start:

When I stored my b310 in 1996 it had 130000 mile (210000 km) on the counter. Okay, not that much but considering the fact that the car was allready 18 years at that time, most Datsun left the roads.

(car is running again, so maybe more miles will be put on the counter when the mot is done

It was not a datsun, but my 1990 Toyota Starlet had done 473.000km's when I blasted it up the hill last year at the Retro Rides show..

When I buy a car, I don't look at the mileage. If the car is running properly, then it's ok for me.
I'd rather have a car that has done 20.000 miles a year, then a 28 year old car with only 20.000 miles on the clock..

Back in the day, there was some publicity about a B110 estate that had done 100k in a year. I'll try and did it out and get it scanned-in. It was used do a nightly run up the motorway and back, transferring data tapes or something for a computer company.

I saw that SL, in one of those Datsun dealer features Autocar and Motor used to run. Usually quite a few driving schools with 120Ys and taxi firms running 180Bs too!

Here in Finland a car with 150 000-200 000km in clock is normal, and 300 00- 400 00 nothing unusual, but we drive older cars due high taxes, and we drive more due long distances.
My KN10 has done about 145 000km and my Sunny about 175 000km (the engine has done about 75 000km in two different cars)

About 15 years ago there was a N13 for show at a local Nissan dealer that had done 800 000km.
-99 Finnish automagazine made a story of -87 Corolla FX that had done 810569km so far.
I also know a Ford Fiesta that has done over 1 000 000km. They went to Germany with it and let some boss from Ford drive it when million turned in clock.

i think my old c210 240k skyline was the highest mileage datsun i've had.
it was on 40k, but no way it was first time around. so that could be either 140k or 240k.... ;D

If I remember correctly, there was a Nissan 300c estate on ebay a while back, with nearly 300.000 miles on the clock.

My Nissan 300c, 2 owners from new (me being the 2nd owner) has got 116k on the clock and thats it being 25 years old :-)
