Hi, Al. I was wondering what they define as a "Club Stand" or "Club Meet". Is it a gathering of more than, say, 3 cars that has been pre-arranged? Or is it when you turn up as an individual and join other individuals (like at Bromley)? I know that my classic insurance covers me for events, probably like most others. It's definitely worth looking into the definition, otherwise we might end up paying for something that is not really needed. That said, it will probably cost pennies and I, for one, would be willing just to send you some money to put into an account. I like simple and if we start getting into business accounts, record keeping etc. etc. then it isn't simple. That nice word "Trust" spring to mind but I know that may not be the solution. Keep at it, mate; you're doing great. Leigh.

Quick screen grab from events insurance. Shows the kind of cost you are looking at.

i always thought the insurance was only required by the person/persons actualy running the show. Not for clubs attending. thats what we had to do when setting up a classic show in bridge of allan and with the dog show.

its something i need to find out. i will ask the retro rides team what their insurance is.
but as long as the stand isn't billed as a datsun club uk stand, i don't think it would need it anyways?
