Hi folks just a quick hello from a newbie,don't own a datsun/Nissan yet but I've decided that i need to start saving for a 240z as i have a serious love for them and well now that i have a sensible Skoda to drive in im gonna need a toy haha

Hiya. good luck in your hunting. you'll find some for sale fairly easy, but unless you're planing on a full on restoration, check them over very carfully for rust and bad repairs. taking a small magnet is always a good idea. they stick to metal but don't stick very well to filler... check inner arches, strut tower at the rear, windsceen scuttle, sills, everywhere...

Thanks al,well the plan is to find as good a car as possible then any part that isn't to my standard will be redone,the plan is simple though as i want to go stock body and interior but with a 3.0 on the new weber dcoe style injection setup for reliability and the suspension and brakes will be upgraded to suit aswell,also want to go for a set of watanabes aswell due to them being the perfect wheel for the z.its going to be really expensive to do but i think most would agree its all worth it in the end haha
