I have a wheel fetish (and seat fetish) and so when I saw these in a garden and the guy said, oh, they came of some sports toyota I cut up in the eighties, I just had to have them knowing they would fit the Datsun PCD. Couldn't sit down at 10pm watching TV knowing they are waiting for me to try them on so here goes. They are 14". I got five as well can you believe! Time to put a datsun logo in the middle and get some wheel nuts. They are not small in the arch as they are 14", its just the arch is cut out.

I used to have a set of those wheels with 185/14 tyres installed first to my N10 Cherry, and later to B11 Sunny. With ET 27 they made a great effort to driving.

How does that compare to the correct offset, do you mean harder to steer? Yours were front wheel drive cars though.

How does that compare to the correct offset, do you mean harder to steer? Yours were front wheel drive cars though. Of course it was a bit harder to steer when parking etc but nothing too hard. Thanks to wider tyres and smaller ET the car was not so "restless", and it took corners better.

Sorry but urgent help needed! I ordered Toyota Avensis alloys nuts as they looked right! But pitch of the thread was courser than the datsun studs, could anyone advise the type if thread, also I need a flat seat hence Toyota nuts (as these are Toyota wheels) After a quick wash off!

Toyota Datyota! I need to drill holes right through the wheel and then use long bolts to go from the back of the wheel, right through and into the SSS caps. Problem is the PCD of the Datsun caps is slightly (2-4mm) smaller. I might drill a bigger hole and then countersink the back and use a washer to stop the bolt screw head going through.

I'm Andrew not David. I simply revved NNP whilst up on a trolley jack with some wire wool!
...and then gave them to Spit and Polish £41 per wheel, bead blasted, rims welded up and then turned down on a lathe, faces diamond cut on a lathe and then laquered

Lookin' good! Datsun alloy wheelnuts like from 280ZX should fit those wheels.

Whoops! Sorry Andrew. Still trying (hopelessly) to remember everyone's names from Retro Rides. I was obviously confusing you with another good looking and intelligent bloke

I went to Mister Tee's wheel nut emporium. I think it was the 5005t. www.mistertee.co.ukvery handy site. Started measuring up to make a Suzuki 100J SSS!
