We didn't get these on our cars here but a dude says he thought he was buying a front bumper for his 210 and this one doesn't fit.. Now he sent me a PM at another forum asking if we ( my son or i ) would want to buy it.. Like i said since we didn't get them here i have no way to compare the widths of this one against ,,,,,,, well anything. It looks like it is pretty rusty or corroded ( you can see it in last picture)and he wants a kings ransom for it sooo i'm trying to get more opinions What do you guys think?

I put this in body interior as i'm not worried about rust or what it's worth cuz like they say ya gotta pay to play.. Just need opinions on whether you guys that know this type of bumper, think this is indeed a 78-79 A10 front bumper.

Yes. It does look like it belongs to an A10 Violet 160J. Just checked it against mine and it has the bolt holes for the "rubber" over-riders and bracketty things in the corners to fix to the side of the wings. Is it as flimsy as mine is? They are not very substantial-more for looks than effect.

It's 4000 miles away on the other coast of America so i can't physically touch it and what-not. Yes the "federal" bumpers as they are called here are far and away better for the parking lot bumper cars than the G-string one. As the Warthog wagon being a college kids daily source of transportation,, some parking lot armor is definitely needed. BUT, we are trying to get another nicer ( we believe less rust) A10 wagon off of an old guys family who passed away a few months before we came across it down very off beat road ,, whilst going to a yard sale. And the bumper would probably go on it. We are waiting for probate as it was a large farm with 5-6 rental houses and machinery.. And from what we saw and internet satellite views we believe there is at least 8 datsuns on the property.
Is there any way you guys could give a couple inside and outside measurements length wise,, they don't have to be exact.

Sorry.... completely forgot about this. The measurement around the front of the bumper from/to the edge of the black plastic over-riders is 199cm. Looking down on the bumper, the top edge measures approx 6.5cm.

I've probably got one of those somewhere as well. That one looks like it has the early lamps in it (1977 ish). I've even got NOS spare lamps .

Ok thanks, we might end up going that route as we are having a real time getting any measurements off the guy,, he answers our E-mail and all,, but never seems to even acknowledge we asked for them. Not sure what to make of it. I'm not sure we can afford NOS (lights) too. Do you have any used or scratch and dent specials? There seems to be low quality ones coming outta Mexico for super cheap,, but as they say, "you get what you pay for" so those would probably need quite a bit of massaging just to fit. Also thanks gainsb1 i appreciate you measuring for my son. Still hopeful but becoming leery of seller.
