Hi can anybody help im finally coming to getting my car painted after many years of restoring the body. My problem is the paint code sticker was missing, is there anywhere else on the car which would tell me what it is. It is white by the way so don't know how many there could be anyway. It a 1975 many thanks

later vehicles sometimes had the code at the bottom of the VIN plate but i doubt E10 ever did. 002 and 216 are two whites that spring to mind, maybe get a test pot of each or look at colour chips at a bodyshop or paint supplier.

If you take something like the filler cap to an automotive paint supplier they can scan it and reproduce the colour for you. Simples!

If you are lucky enough to have the warranty booklet, sometimes the dealer wrote the paint code in it, (and key number, and original keeper name etc)
