Hi all,
Has anybody done it in the UK? Looking at Bluebird/Silvia 232mm discs and Escort disc brake brackets for 13" wheels and some small caliper with handbrake connection.
Coilovers I was considering using a pair of rear Cosworth coilovers and changing the top mount. Any thoughts?
Thanks all,
Charlie

IMHO rear discs are an overkill unless you have 250-300bhp upfront. For a fast road car or even a track focused example the factory drums work well so long as they have been serviced well and have good quality linings etc. Discs could also mess up the F\R brake bias?
Mk2 scrote rear coilies will bolt in.

"Mk2 scrote rear coilies will bolt in."
Really? That sounds like an easy option then, thanks Preet. Have you done this before?
Drums are an option, and as you say, with new shoes, etc that might be the best way.
Thanks again ;-)

Yes, I have fitted scrote coilies. Didn't want to admit having F#rd parts on my car :-)
280zx fronts, larger bore master cylinder and well serviced drums should suffice. It's a massive improvement from stock..obviously not as efficient as a race car set up or modern either..but good and economic upgrade
