Hey guys, normally with strut inserts their held in with a huge threaded hex nut that will come out with a decent adjustable wrench or stilsons on these there's nothing to grip, i might take them down to my local garage to get them out but any thoughts, has anyone seen these on a datsun before? These look like they come out with a spindle lock the type you get to change a disc on an angle grinder?

My 910 manual (albeit just Haynes) refers to a Nissan tool to remove the "gland nut". Fortunately mine had flats on as well as the holes & came off with (plumbers) water pump pliers. Try a local garage (or even a Nissan dealer?) and good luck .... Ed
