Great to see, makes me nostalgic for my old one!
Manual or auto? I think I have seen a photo of this car before, apparently it was last taxed/SORNed in 2001?
Somewhere I have some frightening photos of where these can rust, hopefully you won't have anything too bad to deal with.....

Miss my old C210, I guess it's still sat in bits after the new owner decided to modify it.
Anyways, good luck with this one

You have some work getting this car back on the road and presentable - respect indeed. I don't recall ever seeing these in the 1970's - however I also don't recall seeing any 240Z's either until much later. Puzzling that Datsun /Nissan had 2 rather similar cars in the 240k GT and the 240Z sold at same time (am I right?). Also intriguing that the 240Z is well known, is highly valued whereas I suspect the 240k GT commands much less money. Maybe that is partly its competition provenance. 1st 240K GT I recall seeing belonged to a nice chap in Sunderland - sold its wheels to me for my Bluebird about 5 years ago. Interesting car - am I right to recall that it had fuel injection (ie unlike 240Z)? I think that car is now abroad. Ed

Interesting car - am I right to recall that it had fuel injection (ie unlike 240Z)? I think that car is now abroad. Ed 240Z was an early '70s model, followed by 260Z (essentially the same but with slightly larger engine and option of 2+2 bodywork). By the time the 240K GT came out in '79 the 280ZX was on offer, and I think there is some commonality under the skin. Both used the Bosch-type injected straight-six engine, 2.4 in the 240K and fairly obviously 2.8 in the ZX. The ZX wasn't really a sports car in the way the previous Zs had been, so it would seem to have overlapped with 240K and that probably affected sales of the latter.
