terraclean.co.uk/homeAny thoughts or experience? I have sent off an enquiry to see if it is suitable for carburettors.

Response from TerraClean - "Yes classic / carburettor vehicles are regularly TerraCleaned. If you attend many of the major classic shows at the NEC you will always see us there too. I think the oldest recoded vehicle TerraCleaned in our network is a 1920s Citroen."

I had my Almera done (it's a 2.2dci) last year. It gained a little more mpg and sounded a little better (more when cold) but I think mine wasn't really ready for it due to the way I service it and it being low mileage. The guys that did mine did say they get better results on engines that have done high mileage and poor service.

Can you recall how much it cost you? I'm in Essex and am waiting a reply for a local operator; Do you know of one my way?

For any of you in my area I've just found a local garage that are doing this service. With the Ad voucher they charge £100 for the Terra-clean, £120 for DPF (?) and £140 for EGR (?). Beam MOT Test Centre 21 New Road Rainham, Essex RM13 8DJ 01708-550100/630177
