this is pointless, I'm amazed that they have already rolled it and a 78 model will be eligible in about 3 years anyway. Why rock the boat?

There's an old saying..... "If you don't ask, you don't get" Classic Car Weekly have an article on it. Looks like the FBHVC is in favour.

30 might make more sense as other EU countries seem to favour that age. 25 just doesn't sound that old to me, a 1991 car?

Yes, Will, I agree. 30 just "sounds right" and we could swing it if we were to remain in the EU....but, if you open the link and see the government's response to the petition, you'll notice that this is a tax on vehicles and, currently, the government have retained their powers to raise or lower tax revenues free from EU interference. Hmmmm..... IN or OUT??

Apparently, the petition runs 'til the 24th July. The initial response from the government is a written response having got to 18,000 signatures. If it gets to 100,000 signatures it will be debated in the House of Commons by all parties. So, keep signing.... you never know....
