Hi Guys
New member here, not very computer literate but will have a go.
I am in the process of purchasing a Datsun Skyline Stanza 1.6GL. The vehicle is a one owner from new, 36,000 miles, full service history, serviced every year, although the car only covered an average of 1,090 miles a year.
According to the seller the only ad ons on the vehicle are an alarm and a immobiliser otherwise completely factory including the push button radio.
My wife and I owned one of these when we first got married, although the model we had was the three door hatch, and my new one is a five door hatch.
Looking at the photos, the car is immaculate seat covers from new, trim is superb, no corrosion, checking back on the old MOTs since they went computerised the only advisory is low washer bottle fluid.
I also believe this is the only Stanza currently on the road in the UK.
I am quite excited about this as I would love to show it at meets etc and other Jap events.
Picking it up tomorrow so will forward pics as soon as I get home.
Would appreciate some feedback from you guys to get me going please.

It had 20K on the clock and was in excellent condition.They have yet to reach cult-status prices. Nice car but quite heavy to drive as they had no power steering.Sold it to a guy for £850; might give you some idea as to what they fetch.
There are a few known to this club but not likely to be seen on the road.

Hi Leigh,
Yep thats the one, I offered well over the top for it according to Will, I went in again with £1200, I originally offered him £2000 which he accepted, I paid £150 deposit, but I am willing to lose that rather than paying well over the odds, I am waiting to hear from him if he accepts or not, was not there when I phoned, thanks for all the advice saved a few bob, I also run a little minter of a Micra a little K11, really nice condition, few little add ons etc, nothing daft though.

Hope it goes through for you, im running a 4 door 1.6gl, ive never seen another in the flesh and doubt i will. I find the steering fine, ive had a few where its a lot heavier.
