Hello all. Having owned a range of Nissans and Datsuns over the years since 1989, it now comes down to two of which one is probably more interesting for us here - the '76 Cherry I bought last month. 41000miles from new (66k kms) and 1x owner, always garaged and not on the road since 1996 - yep - 20x years ! Went down to near Marseille with a vg friend to collect - a 24hr trip. Dark blue with a beige interior, 4x doors and I'm looking to firstly get it back on the road, then decide what to do. She's so original, I don't want to restore but there are a few paint 'n body issues to tackle. We did manage to start her upon her arrival at the house but she needs a good overhaul. Looking forward to exchanging with you and sharing the common passion. Best regards, Sean Dézart

Welcome!
Hopefully the southern climate has been kind to the body?
I saw one of the following F10 models for sale down south somewhere in the '90s, but otherwise most of the Datsuns I've seen in France have been the big Cedric saloons (most of them diesels).

There are a fair few smaller cars still around, F10s, 810s and the 220/260Cs and of course the S110s that you never had.

Hi, Seand. That looks clean. Nice interior - we got black vinyl.
