folks i bought a B310 from northern ireland earlier this year, the MOT on the DOE documents says its due to expire on the 14th Aug, obviously the system isn't linked with the UK mainlands, and car shows as having no MOT, im taking the old girl in for a MOT now just want to ensure they will make sure it will start on the 14th Aug and not from the day they mot it, anyone had any experience of this ? just don't want them screwing me over for the 2 weeks

I'm surprised you are bothered about a little thing like that, just be glad it is not from ROI because then you get a letter from DVLA asking you to prove VAT was paid on the car when it was new before they will let you register it.
