Hi I'm John. Been into American cars for years but all ways had a love for 70s and 80s Datsuns. Think it all stems back to my dad's career as a car salesman. He worked at various dealers around Kent when I was a kid, but the one that sticks in my mind was 'Autohouse Datsun' in Larkfield Kent. They also had a branch in Staplehurst. My dad was sales manager in about 78-81. I remember vividly the company demonstrators he used to bring home every day. The 100A, 120Y, 160J sss, various 180B, 200L, 280C saloon and est. My favorite was the 240K GT which was his company car for about a year in about 1980. But best memories come from 2 weeks in North Wales on holiday in the 280C saloon. What a great car for powering up the mountains and through the valleys when you're a 13 year old car fan. John.
