Anyone see this on the magazine shelves? The Practical Classics Top One Hundred Classics Clear evidence that 'Mainstream' and 'Underground' prevails in the classic world. Looks like we are officially 'Cool' No Datsun made the 100 Not one Japanese car made the 100 But a Lada Riva did

Does seem odd, would've thought there'd at least be something like a 240z or a mk1 Toyota MR2 in the list, especially as I can recall Practical Classics doing several group tests (sporting seventies coupes - featuring a 240z, for example) and buyers guides over the years featuring Japanese classics. Must admit I haven't read it myself yet though, will have to pop in WHsmiths and get a copy, just to see what comes where in the list.

Just remember that this Top 100 was compiled by votes from the Classic Car scene..... and, for instance, as there are lots more Morris Minors than other Jap cars the results aren't all that surprising. We are the best kept secret!
