At long last, after being on this forum for a couple of months without actually owning a classic Datsun/Nissan, my patience has paid off. As some of you may be aware, I have been posting wanted ads for a Nissan Bluebird without a sunroof, which proved to be more difficult than I first thought. Having had a few moments of frustration (i'm sure we've all been there) and looking at cars that were either not suitable or rather less immaculate than the seller had described (again, i'm sure we've all been in this position), I finally struck lucky.
My daily eBay search revealed a low-mileage 1989 Bluebird 1.6 Premium, without a sunroof, described as near-immaculate other than some minor front-end collision damage, and not too far away from me either. Needless to say I made a cash offer which was accepted and she's now on my driveway. Also currently talking to a scrapyard which is breaking a Bluebird Executive, which hopefully will yield most of the parts needed, fingers crossed.
So, I am writing this to inspire anyone else on here getting dis-heartened with their project, or lack of one - as my case was, not to give up, and i'll be posting updates on the project as it progresses.

Well done for being patient and finally getting one! Thanks mate, just need to find a few more parts then I can get it booked in the bodyshop to have the repairs done, don't suppose you know of any scrapyards that might have any Bluebirds do you?
Went all the way to Kent yesterday to look at the previously mentioned Executive, hoping to get most of the front end, only to find that someone had rammed the digger into the side of it and bent the bonnet, one of the main bits that I needed  - only rang them up the day before as well to confirm everything was ok 
Never mind, still managed to get quite a few parts off it, now just need a good bonnet, a drivers side headlamp unit and a black unpainted type front bumper.
Anyone with any leads on any of these parts please let me know.

Thanks, the dark grey executive on eBay was the car I've been to get some bits off, and have tried messaging the other ones about parts (2 or 3 of the cars are from the same seller) but so far haven't had any reply, so can only assume they don't have the bits I need or aren't breaking the car anymore? will keep looking and if anyone comes across anything please let me know,

Now just need a bonnet and unpainted front bumper, come on guys someone must know the whereabouts of these parts, just these couple of things holding up getting the car in the paintshop and back on the road
