Greetings from Poland! I want to show you my car which is a 1989 Nissan Sunny N13 GTI with a CA18DE engine. Pics first: (i hope they work)   I bought in September 2016. It has only 91k kilometers on board. 5 speed manual gearbox, "sport" rear muffler with remus exits welded to a no name muffler (one of the previous owners made it, i'll be working on that), 16' OZ rims (no idea what model) 205/45R16 Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires, the engine is stock. I've made this post most likely to ask you a couple of questions, but i think i'll stay here and take part in the forum life. So the questions. 1. Does my car have a LSD? I can't figure it out by vin, there are no numbers on the transmission. There is a big mess on the internet about it. Some say that only B12 came with LSD. Some say, that it was only JDM spec B12. Some say that it came with the CA16DE engine, some say that it came only in N13 with CA18DE. Is there a way to check it without taking the transmission apart? 2. The car doesn't want to start when the engine is cold and there is cold outside. I thing that it gets no air. I have to push the gas pedal a little bit to make it start, and then hold it like 30 seconds to make it work on it's own. Whan can it be? I suppose that the thing called an IAAC valve motor is dead. But i can't find any replacement or an used one in Poland. And Nissan wants 1500 PLN for new one and that is a lot of money, and they don't even grant that it will be available. It says AAC valve AAC82-06 on it. One guy told me that one from CA18DET will work, but it has different numbers, and im not sure. 3. Im looking for rear headrests, as my car has holes for them, but not the headrests. Sorry for my bad english. |

It's probably due to cloudless sky. I've just washed it and waxed with karcher. Nissans aren't popular. On internet selling sites you can see a couple of b12 coupes, like 2 N13's now, sometimes a B11 or a T11. On polish forum about all nissans now there are 2 B12 coupes one with VQ30DE currently being swapped, one with CA16DE. 4 N13, one 5 door hatch with GA16i, one 5 door hatch with 1.3L and one 3 door hatch 1.6 GTI, currently with SR20DE on board. And 2 280Z. Also theres a guy in Gdynia city that owns like 12 S30's. Heres a photo from internet:  ALso my friend owns a B11 and N13 both sedans with 1.7D But aside from that, you can't really see any Nissans on classic car meets. There are plenty of polish cars like Warszawa, Polonez of Fiat 125p, 126p and a ton of old Mercedes's (I know a guy who owns 55). Polish people aren't really into japaneese cars. Of course we use evo's and sti's to race, 350Z are now really popular thanks to a tuner "Coobio Garage" (you can check him out on FB). But most of non-car people are "vag/opel for life", and the most popular car is probably a passat B5 1.9tdi. i'm young and i haven't been to many car meet's, but i've never seen a japaneese car older than early 80's, which is really sad. |

yo bro, i have same car, nissan sunny gti n13 with ca18de engine, i bought it for 350 euro from owner cuz he needs money which is really really really cheap, it is working excelent with 240k kilometers, but i think i will swap engine to ca18det and get it to stage2 (250hp) and myb take 4x4 drive from nissan praire. thats my story. So i have same question like yours, does my car have LSD? Did you find out or not yet? hope you will response me. bye
