Hi All, Was at the Laughton show this week end with the Datsun Bluebird 1600SSS. The weather was a little cool and we had the odd shower but we were the the only Datsun on show! There was a lot of interest in the car as our classic is the only original 1970 SSS in the UK brought home in 1972 after two years in Tokyo.
The question is, where are all those Datsun owners with their classic cars. The Datsuns would make a difference from Morris Minors and Ford models

Couldn't agree more. I'm almost always the only Datsun at the shows local to me in Hornchurch, Essex. However, there is a big gathering in kent at the "Oh So Retro Show" this Sunday. There should be about 13-15 Datsuns. datsunclubuk.proboards.com/thread/4155/ohsoretro-datsun-stand-biggest-century

Thanks Leigh, I thought the show was today!! made the trip, no one there!! Spoke to a local and told next week old chap.....oh dear.
I wanted to meet up with other Datsun enthusiasts so will try again next week....Round trip....150 miles
can you put me down for a ticket please?
