In the past, you could insure such a car at such a young age but at a great cost, due to the risk factor applied to it by an insurer. However, nowadays insurers are looking at the same risk and saying no. This is probably due to better recording of accidents and the related statistics that indicate that the risks are very likely to result in a claim and huge costs. Thus, the judgement call from them is to refuse cover and programme their computers accordingly.
This doesn't help you at all; so my advice would be to keep contacting insurers and ask them to refer your enquiry to an Underwriter. This should get past the computer screen where "the computer says no!"
Good luck.

What you may be able to do is insure the vehicle under a classic car policy, although that will generally restrict the miles you can travel in a year. I use Gott and Wynne: www.gottandwynne.co.uk/, but there are plenty of other classic car insurers out there.

At least they should sell you the cheapest cover like Collision Insurance. Try getting an official Appraisal done on the vehicle and ask the Appraiser to send the Report directly, under cover, to your Insurer. Finally, review your past Claims History (H) with Insurance Companies. If your CH is high most Insurers will shun you.
Can anyone offer assistance to locate parts for my 1986 NISSAN 910 Bluebird? I need (1) Rear RH & LH Combination Light Assy (Complete) (2) Complete Windshield Wiper Assy (minus wiper blades) (3) Pwr Steering Pump. The vehicle is RHD, Chassis #CL0 12218 MJ910A 89744; Rear Wheel Drive; AT. The help will be greatly appreciated.
