Unfortunately the rear hatch screen glass disintegrated this week. Any advice on replacement would be appreciated.

Try looking at your car insurance policy (if you have one) to see if it covers your rear windscreen. Most do, although there is usually an excess. In any case, the excess will be less than you purchasing a new rear screen and they'll fit it for you. Had same issue with my Rover SD1 and they found a new screen for it nationally. Job done (and they forgot to charge me the excess... hurrah!) !

Thanks,
Have tried the windscreen repairers, the insurance, many breakers yards, ebay, Nissan directly, Pilkington classics and no luck so far unfortunately. So unfortunately looking like it will be written off. So sad about that.

Ouch - sorry to hear this Anyuser. Have you tried several windscreen /glass suppliers? Just a thought as my 910 estate needed a screen, Autoglass could not /would not source even via Pilkingtons (who had mould etc), but National found one and fitted at their depot - although it took 2 of them all morning (as the old glass crumbled on removal). Best of all, LV paid up on accidental damage (as glass was not covered on the classic policy), although the total cost was only about £150. Also ...have you tried Will aka Datman - although I think he may be offline at the moment as far as trading he does have a wealth of knowledge and contacts, and maybe stock too. ED
